Sheldon Morris is an Urban Designer/Planner in our Washington, D.C. office. His academic career began at Rutgers University where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Urban studies. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Urban planning and territorial development at the Ecole d’Urbanisme de Paris in Paris, France. Following his studies, Sheldon started his professional career with Mott MacDonald, where he served for two years in the French office’s Architecture/urban planning department, also based in Paris. Sheldon has worked on a range of projects from public transport to commercial centers mostly in the French public sector. He has experience with feasibility studies, master plans, and architectural/urban programming. His professional journey is driven by the aim to create inclusionary spaces that enhance public experience, provide citizens with safe active mobility options, and reduce car dependency. He is passionate about sustainable development, public and active transport, and mixed-use development.
