Meredith is a Planner in Renaissance's Arlington, VA office. She uses her professional experience and education to approach planning from various lenses to bridge policy, design, and community goals to promote sustainable change. As a member of the Renaissance Team, Meredith is enthused to inspire, innovate, and create cities that work. Prior to Renaissance, Meredith worked for the New River Valley Regional Commission (2021 - 2022), focusing on community engagement to guide comprehensive plans and revitalization efforts.

Meredith holds a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning (MUEP) from the University of Virginia where she concentrated in Design. Her planning studio project focused on neighborhood design in Richmond Virginia’s Jackson Ward, analyzing design strategies that promote resilience to climate change, historic preservation, and community-driven programs. 

Prior to her MUEP from UVA, Meredith graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Smart and Sustainable Cities. Additionally, she received minors in Leadership and Social Change, and Visual Arts. Meredith was recognized as the 2022 Virginia Tech Undergraduate Student with Professional Promise by the Virginia American Planning Association (APA-VA). Meredith remained involved with the APA as a graduate student at UVA, serving on the APA-VA Board (2022 - 2023) as a liaison for planning students across Virginia.
