Brunswick Forward Comprehensive Plan 

Town of Brunswick, MD

Renaissance developed a comprehensive plan for the city of Brunswick Maryland. Due to its location in Frederick County and the Greater Washington Region, the city is facing growth pressures and looking to clarify its vision, goals, and strategies for the next 30 years. Brunswick is an old railroad town functioning at present as a bedroom community now that the railroad industry has waned.   

During the visioning process residents voiced a desire to be a place where people can both live and work. Renaissance engaged with the community to understand their vision for the future and translated it into different scenarios within the built environment to help them understand the implications of different policy choices.  These subsequently formed the basis of a comprehensive vision for the future growth of Brunswick.
